Placing an order
An order placed through www.tavid.ee is considered as an intention to buy the specified product at the given price. Upon placing an order the customer will automatically receive an invoice, which is the confirmation of placed order. By sending the invoice the contract between Tavid AS and the customer is concluded.
With this contract Tavid AS will take the responsibility to deliver ordered products under agreed conditions and the client is taking the responsibility to pay for the products in agreed amount and time.
The client has to pay for the ordered products and the money must be transferred on a working day to Tavid AS bank account within one hour after issuing the invoice, if no, Tavid AS will consider this as a relevant validation of the contract and will resign from the transaction. If the client will make the transfer later than agreed or payment will arrive to Tavid AS bank account later than one hour, Tavid AS can still accept it. If Tavid will not accept the delayed payment, money will be returned to customer’s bank account as soon as possible. The cost of the transfer will be deducted from the returning sum.
Transfers for the orders placed during weekends or public holidays (i.e. bank holidays) must be paid so, that the payment for the products will arrive to Tavid AS account on next bank day before 10.30 AM.
If the client has repeatedly violated the obligations resulting from the contract and has placed a new order and made a payment for that, Tavid AS will remain the right to refuse to complete the order until the client has fulfilled previous obligations properly.
Ordered products will be issued to the customer only if the payment has been made in agreed time and under agreed conditions. If Tavid AS can’t deliver the products as agreed, the client will be informed immediately and the new delivery time will be explained.
NB! Gold will only be handed over to the person from whose bank account the money was transferred. For business clients the gold will be handed over to the legal representative of the company.
In order to receive packages by ELS Express courier client's telephone number must be marked. ELS courier will call to the client to agree a suitable handover time. The package will be delivered on the next day or the day after depending of the time ordering time.
The given delivery prices of ELS Express apply only if packages are delivered within Estonia. Delivery conditions and prices to abroad are agreed case by case. Please contact us by telephone +372 627 9900 or e-mail email@example.com.
Cancelling an order
By sending out the invoice the sales-purchase contract between the customer and Tavid AS is concluded. Upon the invoice is issued the customer retains the right to cancel an order in accordance to the conditions and time deriving from the law, only if Tavid AS has substantially violated the contract.
If the customer fails to make the transfer in agreed time and manner (the money has been transferred to Tavid’s bank account), Tavid AS will withdraw from the contract automatically without informing the client.
AS Tavid retains the right to annul the order if the sale of products becomes impossible due to extraordinary circumstances and will reimburse the customer immediately for services paid.
Possible causes for cancelling an order are following:
• computer breakdown, causing disturbances to the data on product prices and stocks
• problems with delivery – when the ordered products do not arrive as scheduled
• extraordinary situations on the world market, causing major changes in the price of gold
Upon cancellation of an order for reasons mentioned above, Tavid AS shall contact the customer in order to specify new terms or shall return immediately all funds transferred by the customer.
Currency and exchange rates
The currency exchange rates on our web page are in relation to euro. The buying rate indicates how many units of the currency to be bought must be given by client to receive 1 euro. The sales rate indicates the amount of currency the client will receive for 1 euro.
Payments to Tavid AS can be also done in other currencies than euro. If the customer wishes to transfer any other currency, please contact us by phone +372 627 9900 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to specify the currency exchange rates and agree on other terms of the transaction.
AS Tavid needs correct customer data in order to reach quickly the customer if notifying about things concerning their order is needed. All information provided by client is confidential and shall not be passed to third parties, unless Tavid AS is obligated by the law to do that or it is necessary for delivering the products.
