|
The reverse of the year 2008 Australian Koalas depict a mother and baby koala sitting on a tree branch. The frosted design, which incorporates the Mint’s traditional "P" mintmark, appears on a unique "shimmer" table.
The obverse of each coin depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty
Queen Elizabeth II and the 2008 year-date. |
|
The coins are struck from 99.9% pure silver.
Mintages
No mintage limit applies to Australian Koala silver bullion coins for 12 months. However, production will close at the end of 2008, when The Perth Mint will declare each coin’s official mintage.
Presentation
All bullion coins are packed in protective acrylic capsules.
