The silver medallion is made of high quality pure silver (proof 999).
The medallions weigh 1 ounce (31.1035 grams) and are produced in limited numbers. The medallion is available only at AS Tavid currency exchange offices.
AS Tavid is the author of the idea of the silver medallions, as well as the issuer. The design is by Sander Solvak. The medallions have been produced in Switzerland, by the PAMP Suisse factory. PAMP Suisse is well known as a manufacturer of high quality silver and gold.
Design
Variable matte and mirror surfaces
The front side of the medallion features the silhouette of Tallinn and the sea waves that characterise Tallinn as a naval city. There is also the word Tallinn and the year 1154 on the front side of the medallion, marking the year when the city was first mentioned by an Arabian geographer al-Idrisi.
The reverse side is decorated with the Tall Hermann tower – one of the better-known sights of Tallinn.

The medallion is packaged in a protective plastic capsule.
